Prayer is an important, if not the most important, part of our relationship with Jesus Christ. It is our means of talking to Him and listening to Him.
As a Parish we meet twice a week to pray for the Parish, the Presbytery, the Church in Scotland and world matters in Mallaig on a Tuesday or Arisaig on a Thursday. Others use the time each week to pause from their daily lives and pray in their homes or on their way to work.
It is an informal time and individuals can drop in and out while others stay for the hour.
We pray for the Parish, it's Communities, those who are ill or have lost loved ones in recent days, our brothers and sisters in the parishes within Lochaber Presbytery, the eight primary schools and Mallaig High School and their teachers, those serving the parish - emergency services, Doctors, those working in the Parish - fishermen and related businesses, tourism businesses and those visiting the Parish on holiday.
We also pray for the RNMDSF and the Parishes of St Cumin's, St Patricks and St Mary's.
We also pray for international issues that are current in the world.

It is hoped over the next year to start a prayer chain for important and urgent matters of prayer. Please speak to or email the minister if you would like to be part of this.
